Insurance companies were battling it out at the IMS Shows. In Long Beach California every person in the door got a bag to carry swag from Progressive Insurance. Allstate came up with a clever display, though.
The company had several immaculate restorations of vintage Allstate motorcycles and scooters. Made by various European manufacturers, Allstate motorcycles and scooters were sold by Sears mostly in the 1950s and 1960s. At that time Allstate Insurance was also part of Sears, so the tie-in is a natural, and the bikes were very cool and drew a lot of traffic.
