April 22-25 will be the opening salvo for the four man team from MSS Colchester Kawasaki. British Superbike and Superstock will never be the same after this four man team roll into the series on the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R. The teams will consist of Gary Mason and Howie Mainwaring riding in the Superbike class with Stuart Easton and Danny Buchan riding in the Superstock class.
Team Manager Nick Morgan has commented, “To have four riders we’ve worked with before is so important to me and the technicians. Gary’s better than the results showed last year and he wants this second opportunity. Stuart needs no introduction and he’s already had miles under his belt on the new Ninja World Superbike which will be valuable to us. Howie really impressed us last year and with some more consistency I think he can be a challenger whilst it’s mega to be able to keep Danny in the Team Green family. He can only get better and there’s no pressure in his first year, we just want him to learn and develop. As everyone knows outright model power is so important in Superstock and that’s definitely something that the new Ninja has buckets of, so this could be our year!”
The MSS Colchester Kawasaki dealership recently took part in a UK Launch evening which culminated in one lucky customer winning a trip to the Kawasaki factory in Japan. Partnering with another MSS sponsor Blackhorse Finance, Colchester Kawasaki also gave away a new ZX6R to one of their own customers. MSS Colchester Kawasaki is also looking for a little help on the track; they are looking for Grid Girls. Check out the website for more details on becoming and the latest updates on the team.
