2012 Kawasaki ZX-14R Introduction Video

zx-14rMeet the new ZX-14R. Kawasaki’s hypersport motorcycle has garnered plenty of attention since it was unveiled, and for good reason. With more than 200 horsepower and a top speed of just under 200 mph, the ZX-14R is built for the dragstrip.

Kawasaki writes:

“It’s gotta be ugly competing against the ZX-14 year after year. When it arrived on the big-bore sportbike stage in 2006, the big Ninja blew everyone’s minds – owners, journalists and competitors – with its incredible thrust, sport-tourer comfort, agile handling and aerodynamic full-coverage bodywork. Continuous refinement has kept the 14 a step ahead of the competition, all while filling enthusiasts’ face shields with wild, ear-to-ear grins.”

AMA Drag Racing Champion Rickey Gadson points out the highlights in the ZX-14R introduction video.

Graves Motorsports’ Crew Chief Gary Dean Disassembles an R6 in One Minute [Video]

Graves_Yamaha_R6_BuildGraves Motorsports crew chief Gary Dean is good at his job. He can completely disassemble a Yamaha R6 Sportsbike in just over one minute… So the video is sped up just a tad, it’s still pretty cool to see the bike get torn down like that.

Graves Motorsports has just completed modifying an R6 sportsbike so that it is legal to race in AMA Supersport races, but so that it is also legal to ride on the street.

This is part one of the build. Graves Motorsports has also released a 3D version of the video here.

Graves Motorsports will be releasing part two of the build soon.

Motorcycle Prank: Beware of Men in Pink Ski Masks

pink_masksIf you’re out for a nice Sunday ride, make sure you check over your shoulder for some mischievous pranksters. A man stopping for guess had the misfortune of running into a bunch of pink masked hooligans.

Check out the ridiculous video.

Did that really just happen?… No, no it didn’t My guess is that this is a viral video showing how light the motorcycle is. But my advice still stands. Beware of a bunch of men in a van wearing pink ski masks. They’re up to no good.
