Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Pro Tire Review

For all you sport bike riders out there who are looking for tires that are great in the rain, for street riding and an occasional track day, the Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 Pro Tires might be worth looking at.

An improved version of the original BT-016, the Pro model offers great performance in wet weather conditions and an increase in mileage. These sport bike tires provide better stability, more traction and longer wear, with multiple compounds of rubber. The front tire which has a dual compound construction (3LC), is softer along the edges for grip, while the center is firmer for greater stability. The Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 rear tire in turn is made with a triple compound (5LC). Firmer rubber in the center for stability, softer rubber in the mid areas for traction and the softest rubber along the edges for a greater connection to the road while leaning into the curves. With a conservative tread pattern that heats up well, you’ll get all the traction you need, in any kind of weather conditions.
