River Road Scout Jacket Review

The River Road Scout Jacket is made of premium, heavy-weight leather, with stretch panels under the arms and on the sides that provide freedom of movement and a flexible fit. The Scout Jacket has two, front ports that reveal perforated leather to let air into the jacket, circulate around the torso, and exit through rear exhaust vents. The sleeve cuffs of the jacket have a two-way zipper to regulate air through mesh gussets. This River Road leather jacket has plenty of storage options to choose from. Concealed under it’s front chest pockets are multiple compartments that make it easy to carry any necessities. The jacket liner is a fully sleeved, snap-out liner that reflects body heat inward and allows humidity to escape; providing maximum warmth with minimal bulk. The Scout jacket comes with a thermal neck wrap that extends up the neck and chin, and can be easily stored back into the jacket when not in use. The interior of both the jacket shell and the liner have a cell phone pocket on the left side and a map/cargo pocket on the right side. Additional internal storage is located, chest-high, just inside the left placket (a perfect place for wallet storage). As an added convenience, there is an interior bungee lanyard with a metal clip that can be used as a key holder. For protection, the Scout jacket has CE rated armor in the shoulders and elbows. There is also an EVA foam back pad. For increased visibility, the jacket has reflective tape on the front and back of the jacket. For comfort, the collar has been finished with a soft, smooth padded tipping. This jacket comes with a 2 year manufacture’s warranty.
