The Klim Baja Pants have an “in the boot” design with heavy duty structural mesh chassis, and heavy duty 840 Denir Condura Nylon. The 840 Condura has been constructed specifically for this type of off-road riding pant. Klim has incorporated 1682d Ballistic panels in high stress, abrasion, and impact areas. There are genuine leather inner leg panels, as well as stretch panels in the rear lower leg, rear seat, groin, and upper knee areas. The stretch panels in the rear lower leg stretch to accommodate knee pads/braces. For a better fit, the Baja pants come with a complimentary belt, and gathered elastic has been incorporated into the rear waist band. As previously mentioned, the Baja pants have an “in the boot” design. This is due to the pant’s tapered leg/cuff that was explicitly made to fit inside of riding boots. The Baja pants have YKK zippers with internal and external zipper storm flaps. All zippers have “glove friendly” zipper pulls. There are two storm flap covered zipper pockets for storage. For protection, there are hip pad pockets with removable foam padding. The interior is lined with a moisture wicking mesh liner with Condura at the inner knees. For high visibility, these Klim pants have 3M Scotchlite Industrial grade 9910 reflective panels. Like some of Klim’s other off-road pants, the Baja pants have an articulated seat and leg profile; meaning they’ve been designed for optimum comfort specifically you’re while sitting on your bike. The Baja pants have been designed to be worn over a synthetic base layer. The high quality embroidered graphics are sure to get you noticed when you ride.
