Klim Dakar Pants

The Klim Dakar Pants have been designed to be worn over riding boots. Like most of Klim’s riding pants, they’ve been constructed from high quality, heavy duty fabrics like: 840 Denir Condura, 1682 Denir Nylon in the seat and knees, and ballistic panels in high wear areas. Polyester ribbed stretch fabric has been incorporated above the knees, in the seat area, and a crotch gusset; this allows the pants to move with the rider. The interior of the pants are lined with a wicking polyester mesh liner with Lycra stretch panels and knee brace reinforced Condura inner knee panels. These liner stretch panels match the stretch on the shell of the pants which helps make the liner move with the shell of the pants. The Dakar pants have controlled ventilation Chassis, and two dual adjustable 20” thigh mesh-lined vents with dual zipper heads. The back of the legs have mesh lined rear leg vents. There are several fit adjustment features on the Dakar pants like the adjustable Velcro cuff closures, which allow the rider to access/adjust a knee brace, socks or boots. There are also Velcro waist adjusters, and the high-back, self-adjusting elastic yoke helps to prevent, as Klim says, instances of “plumber’s crack”. There are removable hip and knee pads for protection, and two large volume side leg Velcro cargo pockets for storage. Some extra convenience features include: auto lock, high durability YKK zippers, a DWR coated shell to shed water, a storm flap on the front fly and reflective industrial-grade 3M piping accents. These Klim pants also have high quality embroidered graphics, and improved high tenacity stitching thread with double stitching and bar-tacks.
