Roger Lee Hayden Returns to MJM Motorsports

roger_haydenRoger Lee Hayden is officially back on the Michael Jordan Motorsports team. Hayden will once again suit up to represent the Army National Guard on the #54 machine during the 2012 AMA Superbike Championship.

Hayden only claimed two podiums during the 2011 season but the last five races of the season showed that Hayden was a premier rider. Hayden finished in the top four during the last five races and will be looking to build on that in 2012.

“I’m really excited to be returning to Michael Jordan Motorsports and representing the Army National Guard again,” said Hayden. “The team and I really came on strong near the end of the season and I hope that we can keep that momentum going into next year.  I feel like I have one of the best crews in the paddock so it’s great to keep the same unit together.  I am especially honored to represent the men and women of the National Guard this year as they celebrate 375 years of service to our country.”

The Michael Jordan Motorsports team said that re-signing Hayden, who provides safety training for enlisted soldiers, was an easy decision.

Kreig Robinson, the Vice President of Corporate Relations at MJM, said:

“Roger Hayden gave us a first-class effort in 2011 and proved that he deserves the opportunity to ride a Superbike. His ‘ready to work’ attitude toward development made him an easy choice to return to ride for us and to represent the National Guard in 2012.  We always set our sights on championship contention, and we’re confident in Roger Lee’s commitment to excellence.”
