Vegas Harley Dealership to Host Christmas Dinner for the Homeless

VegasSign There is no shortage of motorcycle related charity during the holidays.  There are toy runs, fundraising bike washes and canned food rides.  However, one of the most heart-warming events takes place in Las Vegas.

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson and Broken Chains Ministry work together to feed the needy with their annual Christmas dinner for the homeless.  The two groups will begin serving food at 10 a.m. on Christmas day in the Las Vegas Harley-Davidson motorcycle dealership’s parking lot.

Randy Compton of the Las Vegas Harley dealership said, “Last year’s Christmas dinner was a huge success. Over 300 of our city’s homeless people were served food here at our dealership and over 200 volunteers came out to help. This year promises to be even bigger, with more than 500 homeless people expected to be in attendance.”

If you happen to live in the Vegas area, or if you will be there on Christmas day, volunteers are still needed to help staff the motorcycle charity event. If you are interested in volunteering, you can contact Pastor Cody Huff at Broken Chains Ministry at (702) 265-2603, or you can also just show up at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson between 8:30-9:00 a.m. Christmas morning.

Las Vegas Harley-Davidson is located at located at 2605 S. Eastern Avenue.
