The 2010 MotoGP season has ended, and now, the 2011 season has begun. We’re still a few months away from the first race, but Valentino Rossi and the rest of the MotoGP paddock got some early season testing today at Valencia.
Rossi hopped aboard the Ducati Desmosedici and did a few laps around the Ricardo Tormo track. Rossi did about ten laps during the early testing session today, and completed a best lap time of 1’37.329. On Sunday, Rossi had a best time of 1’32.970 aboard his Yamaha bike.
Rossi took to the track for a second time later in the day, and brought his time down to 1’33.882, an impressive improvement from the morning session, but still not up to the pace of his M1.
Rossi and the MotoGP team are still hashing things out with the Ducati bike, and will start work on improving the bike after today’s tests
