The brand new ‘four in one’ 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 is moving off showroom floors in the UK much faster than Ducati or the local dealers expected. Even though the world – especially the United Kingdom – is suffering through the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression, sales of the new do-anything bike from Italy are exceeding predictions by more than 20%. Finding one for yourself there can be very tough, so interested buyers are encouraged to get a deposit in as soon as possible.

The Multistrada 1200 S (both Sport and Touring) models are the hottest sellers of the range and are sold out until sometime in September/October at present. Some of the base model versions can still be found, but finding your desired configuration of upgrades will not be easy as dealer supplies are limited. One reason seems to be that many buyers of the new model are first-time Ducati owners – the Multi is converting people to Italian machinery. Dealers are working closely with the Ducati factory to ensure that Multistrada shipments keep landing in the UK so no customers are lost due to delays.

The 2010 Ducati Multistrada 1200 is certainly living up to the hype (at least in the UK)!
